Safeguarding energy efficiency

01.03.2018

ArcelorMittal in Termirtau, Kazakhstan hosted one of the biggest workshops on energy management attended by more than 100 experts of middle and top levels. The training was conducted by Galina Yeremeyeva, Head of Energy Audit and Standardization Department of GCE Group. Ms. Yeremeyeva, an IRCA certified auditor for ISO 50001:2011 energy management systems, told the participants about the importance of EMS development and integration into the corporate management system.

«Today, energy management is more relevant for industrial companies than ever. It is a simple and operative way to build an effective energy conservation system. However, this system will not work without properly trained staff — only a qualified specialist can design activities to improve energy efficiency. We are glad that ArcelorMittal Temirtau has entrusted us to guide its experts. It is an important task that can only be solved in close cooperation», says Samat Amurgalinov, Vice-President of GCE Group in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
