The audit of the HSE system was conducted based on a special methodology developed by the experts of GCE-Ecology. As part of the diagnostics stage, 840 company’s employees were interviewed, which made it possible for the auditors to estimate the involvement of the staff into development of the safety system.

«We have chosen 5 priorities for the company’s strategic development: leadership and culture, supplier management, transport safety, risk management and environmental safety. Successful implementation of these priorities will contribute to achieving strategic targets of the company that consist in the development of regions and processes and ensuring impeccable quality of our clients», says Sergey Smetskiy, General Director of Gazrpomneft-Snabzhenie.

The management of the audited company was the main initiator of the audit and provided all necessary support in the course of assessment of the existing HSE system. It should be noted that, pursuant to the business strategy of Gazrpomneft-Snabzhenie, one of the top targets of the company in the area of industrial safety is risk mitigation and accidents prevention (Target 0).

«Target 0 is a real target and the most important thing here is that everyone understands and realizes it», says Alexander Stakanov, Director of GCE-Ecology.

Based on the audit findings, GCE-Ecology developed the strategy of the industrial safety improvement to 2025, which will help Gazrpomneft-Snabzhenie reduce the number of injuries, achieve Target 0 and ameliorate the safety culture in view of the established priorities.
